About Gawahi Television

Gawahi Television (GTV) is a visionary movement founded to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ among people from different religious backgrounds living in the Islamic republic of Pakistan through the means of television. GTV is a 24/7-cable transmission that started broadcasting on 25th Feb 2013 from Karachi, which is the largest city in Pakistan, With over 21 million in population, Karachi is comprised of people of all provinces, religion and culture, including Muslims, Christians and Hindus. After 2 & half years of 24/7 broadcasting, between 12-14 million people are watching GTV regularly.

We have found great zeal and hunger for the word of God in people of all religions living in Pakistan. God is doing a marvelous work in millions of people's lives. We've received feedback, especially from women and youth of both Christian and non-Christian backgrounds. Non-Christians are not allowed to attend church, masses or evangelism meetings, but they are being blessed through Gawahi Television, which they may watch safely in their homes. And now the word of God is transforming their lives. We have learned that people are anxiously waiting for GTV to be broadcast in their area (other cities of Pakistan), as they have heard a lot about the channel through social media and our live streaming. Unfortunately, we are unable to broadcast through the same cable network system we are using in Karachi. We firmly believe that by broadcasting via satellite, GTV will be able to make its programs available without any restriction and interception in the hardest cities like Peshawar and the province of Baluchistan. We will be able to take the message of living hope and love to those who are waiting and expecting the power of God to touch their lives through television.

Gawahi Television is planning to set up eight (8) studios and media centers in major cities of Pakistan (Islamabad, Hyderabad, Lahore, Sialkot, Peshawar, Quetta, Sargodha and Sukhur) and record programs in provincial and tribal languages to share the gospel in local languages like Sindhi, Punjabi, Pashto, Balouchi, Siraiki and other small tribal languages. Ultimately, our desire is to share God's message of grace, love and hope to every single person living in Pakistan.
